ALY ASTRA is an engaging math + music program where numbers, shapes and math concepts come alive through play. Parents and caregivers participate with their children in simple movements, math challenges, finger play and games... with familiar singalong songs and rhythm practice throughout the session. Counting, recognizing numbers and shapes; starting to hear math glossary for abstract concepts of space, distance and placement; comparing numbers, size, and dimensions are a few of the skills we practice in our jam-packed sessions.

Lifelong learner and musician Aly is a well-established and experienced STEM/STEAM instructor with a special skill in making big concepts easy to understand. When lessons are fun, young students are more motivated for the ongoing success that builds the curiosity to learn more.

We know “wisdom won't enter a closed mind“ so our most-repeated lesson is that there is no 'can't', just 'can't YET!'.  With that enthusiastic growth mindset, we teach that our amazing universe is stuffed with wonders to expand imaginations. Wider horizons create open minds, which in turn create open hearts, which in turn support a healthier, more caring world. Practicing compassion, kindness and cooperation with others is a vital component of every Aly Astra class.

For those who join virtually, our interactive class lets kids see and play with other children safely and creatively, expanding indoor worlds by seeing and sharing with kids just like them, all over the nation.
